Commands to reproduce
---------------------

I simulated GitHub actions with a local docker environment.

    docker build -t ci .

I ran the following commands to reproduce the issue so that I could bugfix the static analyzer script.

docker run -e CI=true --rm -v "$PWD:$PWD" -w "$PWD" --init ci ./scripts/static-analyser-check.sh
docker run -e CI=true --rm -v "$PWD:$PWD" -w "$PWD" --init ci ./bootstrap.sh -Dwith-examples=true
docker run --rm -v "$PWD:$PWD" -w "$PWD" --init ci meson test -C builddir
docker run --rm -v "$PWD:$PWD" -w "$PWD" --init ci dbus-run-session -- gamemode-simulate-game
docker run --rm -v "$PWD:$PWD" -w "$PWD" --init ci ./scripts/static-analyser-check.sh
```

All commands reuse the same workspace which is how it works in GH actions.

Legitimate bugs
---------------

Now the error displayed in build failure appears to be a legitimate bug.  Four were found related to null pointer dereference.  I'm not fixing the bug but the check should work properly for those who do.

If you following my docker setup in this description you can view the bug report by starting the report server.

docker run -p 127.0.0.1:8181:8181 -it --rm -v "$PWD:$PWD" -w "$PWD" --init ci scan-view --host 0.0.0.0 --allow-all-hosts builddir/meson-logs/scanbuild/*
```

After the report server is started you can visit `http://127.0.0.1:8181/` to view the bugs.

Use the -C option instead of changing the dir, change the build folder to builddir.

17efeaa699 subprojects: Switch inih to a properly managed git submodule
This allows us to correctly manage inih version by manually updating it,
as opposed to relying on `HEAD` which will render each build unable to
reproduce across changes.

Additionally with submodules we can look to distribute complete tarballs
of the repository to facilitate build systems that ban networking for
security reasons (i.e. Solus).

759cbc3c40 Add config file parsing
Checks for a gamemode.ini in /usr/share/gamemode/ (or in the cwd for debugging)

	Currently allows for blacklisting and whitelisting clients based on rudimentary needle-haystack executable name checks

	See the example/gamemode.ini file for expected syntax

	Using the BSD licensed inih library (with additional meson.build file)

c459c05076 Initial 0.1 commit
This is a small daemon/libary to enable games to request a
performance "game mode" from the system.

Currently only implemented to upgrade the CPU governor and
automatically downgrade it once done.

A game only needs to load libgamemodeauto to activate the request.
Which means an LD_PRELOAD can be applied to any game to activate
the mode as needed.

However gamemode_client.h can be used to manually activate/deactivate
the mode as needed, and also perform error checking.

The libs are miminal loaders to call into an installed libgamemode
which, if the daemon is installed and running, will send through
the equivelant game mode request, and magic will happen.
